About The Position

The Software Tester manages testing projects throughout each phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), designs independent web test cases for newly developed applications, and performs a range of testing activities. The role also involves assessing product load, improving functionality and usability, and collaborating with developers and other quality technicians to strengthen testing strategies and document repeatable quality processes. The position requires one year of Software Tester experience, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a solid understanding of the SDLC, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.

Requirements

• One year of experience as a Software Tester.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, mobile, big data, cross-platform, component, security, performance, UI/UX, and A/B testing.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest testing developments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in [X] language.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.

Nice To Haves

• TMap, ISEB, or ISTQB certification.

Responsibilities

• Design independent web test cases for each newly developed web application.
• Provide developers with feedback about automated testing strategies, design fixes, and patches.
• Perform system load tests for new products.
• Manage and train apprentices, junior testers, and new developers.
• Work with other quality technicians to document quality processes for replication in other locations.
• Manage testing projects during each phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Improve the functionality, design, and usability of new products.
