About The Position
Northrop Grumman is seeking software engineering students for an internship with its Defense Systems Sector in Roy, Utah. The intern will join the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD). The internship offers opportunities to develop skills, learn about the company, network with experts and thought leaders, and receive training, professional development, and networking support. The position requires availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027. Candidates must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and must remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027. Intern pay in Roy, Utah, is listed as $23.00–$29.00 per hour for bachelor’s students and $32.75–$35.50 per hour for master’s students. Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
- Major in or have majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
