About The Position

Northrop Grumman is seeking a software engineering student for a summer 2027 internship at its Defense Systems Sector in Roy, Utah. The intern will join the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD) and assist with hardware/software integration and testing of various AVE GSI I&T lab test sets. The internship offers training, professional development, and networking opportunities. The intern must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.

Requirements

• Be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, with full-time enrollment in Fall 2027.
• Major in or have majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
• Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
