About The Position
Northrop Grumman is seeking software engineering students for a summer 2027 internship at its Defense Systems Sector in Roy, Utah. The intern will join the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division and work with the Core Platform and Repos team on Kubernetes practices and GitLab usage. The internship offers training, professional development, networking opportunities, and exposure to the company and its work in global security. Candidates must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university, pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
- Major in or have majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice To Haves
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
- Hold a current active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
