About The Position

Red 6 is an augmented reality technology startup focused on synthetic air combat training. Its ATARS product enables pilots to simulate the cognitive challenges of flying through realistic, scalable training in dynamic outdoor environments. The Software Test Engineer is part of the Integration and Test team and develops and executes manual and automated tests for augmented reality software systems. Working under the guidance of senior test engineers and the test lead, the engineer translates assigned requirements into test cases and procedures, captures objective test evidence, documents defects, and helps maintain reliable test environments. The role collaborates daily with software development and product teams and occasionally supports the Hardware Test team during integrated activities involving electronics, computing, and optical hardware.
