About The Position

As our Software Development Engineer in the Hospital Patient Monitoring Team, you will be working in an Agile environment responsible for software for our new Real-time Patient Monitoring platform. Your role: Identify manual processes and inefficiencies and improve them through automation. Implement test automation using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD), experience in converting functional requirements into Gherkin scenarios. Develop functional test suites and test documentation / concepts. Translate user requirements into innovative solutions using the latest technology. Review code and provide technical feedback and direction. Deliver software modules and components meeting the requirements, quality standards, and timelines.

Requirements

  • Minimal experience testing (functionally and automated) complex solutions.
  • Skills include CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub, Cloud services, (AWS or Azure)a plus; being detail oriented with demonstrated ability to understand and assess a complex software application or scenario with particular focus on the development and execution of comprehensive test scripts or protocols and defect (failure mode) detection.
  • Bachelor’s degree, required or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
