Software Test Analyst
About The Position
Supports Quality Assurance activities for the LAMBS modernization project, transitioning legacy applications to a modern web-based platform. Participates in requirements, design, project meetings, and system walkthroughs to understand business and technical requirements. Develops, maintains, and executes test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts. Performs functional, integration, regression, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Works closely with Business Analysts, developers, project managers, vendors, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve testing issues. Reviews business and technical requirements to ensure they are complete, clear, and testable. Prepares test data and validates application results against business requirements. Identifies, documents, tracks, and retests application defects through resolution. Provides testing status, risks, issues, and recommendations to project teams and management. Maintains QA documentation, test evidence, defect logs, and project documentation. Supports production validation, application releases, upgrades, and change management activities. Provides technical guidance and support to junior QA team members. Identifies opportunities to improve QA processes, testing methodologies, tools, and automation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with DevSecOps practices and technologies.
- 5 years Experience performing software testing or working with testing tools.
- Bachelor's degree required.
