About The Position

KēSTA I.T. is actively seeking an experienced Software Test Analyst for an immediate contract engagement. This role will support quality assurance and testing activities for Salesforce/CRM applications in an Agile environment. The focus will be on developing, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases using Azure DevOps, while collaborating with customers, vendors, developers, and test engineers to ensure solutions meet documented requirements and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce testing experience, particularly with Service Cloud, as well as experience with API testing, regression testing, test automation, defect management, and continuous integration environments.

Requirements

6+ years of Salesforce QA/testing experience.
4+ years of experience testing Salesforce Service Cloud.
4+ years of experience using Azure DevOps Test Suite for test planning, test execution, and defect management.
Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and application architecture.
Experience testing Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Experience with Salesforce production and sandbox environments.
Experience with Salesforce objects and functionality, including Flows, AppExchange packages, Lightning, and Apex.
Demonstrated ability to interpret requirements and user stories and convert them into comprehensive test cases and scripts.
Experience creating and maintaining test suites and test scripts in Azure DevOps.
Experience documenting test results and managing defects through resolution.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing practices, and regression testing.
Ability to establish and maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, execution results, and defects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong facilitation, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt effectively to changing priorities and project requirements.

Nice To Haves

4+ years of experience testing Nice CXone or another Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platform.
1+ year of SQL experience.
1+ year of experience with Selenium or other test automation tools.
Experience working with government or public health processes, standards, and guidelines.
Experience developing automated testing solutions and integrating automation into continuous integration environments.
Experience testing Salesforce APIs and third-party integrations.
Familiarity with Salesforce development concepts and technologies, including Apex, Lightning, Flows, and AppExchange.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
Experience supporting Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

Develop, organize, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test suites, test cases, and test scripts using Azure DevOps.
Review business requirements and user stories to determine appropriate testing approaches and create test scenarios that provide clear traceability to requirements.
Participate in requirements and solution discussions with customers, vendors, developers, and project teams to understand expected functionality and testing needs.
Perform functional, regression, integration, positive, and negative testing for Salesforce and CRM applications.
Evaluate the impact of application enhancements and new functionality and determine appropriate regression testing requirements.
Test Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud functionality, including integrations and web services.
Perform API testing involving REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or comparable applications.
Document test results, identify defects, and track issues through resolution using Azure DevOps.
Maintain complete traceability between requirements, test cases, execution results, and identified defects.
Evaluate existing testing processes and automation frameworks and recommend opportunities to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and collaborate with test engineers to implement automation within continuous integration environments.
Troubleshoot existing automation scripts and assist with diagnosing test failures and other testing issues.
Work closely with developers to validate testing outcomes and ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and functional expectations.
Apply established quality assurance methodologies, testing standards, and best practices throughout the application lifecycle.
Ensure testing activities and proposed solutions align with applicable security requirements and standards.
Participate throughout the Salesforce application lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, enhancement, and maintenance activities.
Support knowledge transfer and develop training materials or transition plans to facilitate successful movement into ongoing application support.
Communicate testing progress, findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Facilitate testing discussions, assist with problem resolution, and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
