About The Position
As a Software Test Analyst, you will support software quality assurance initiatives by developing and executing test strategies that ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards. This role requires strong experience in manual and automated testing, defect management, data validation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or systems analysis.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing, executing, and managing test cases and test plans.
- 5+ years of experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
- 5+ years of experience with testing and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and quality assurance best practices.
- Experience with SQL, data validation, database testing, and reconciliation activities.
- Experience testing APIs, system integrations, web-based applications, and enterprise systems.
- Experience with test automation tools, automated regression testing, and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Review requirements and identify gaps, inconsistencies, and potential quality risks.
- Document, track, prioritize, and verify software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
- Create and maintain automated test suites and regression testing frameworks.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and database testing using SQL.
- Test APIs, system integrations, interfaces, and end-to-end application workflows.
- Support release, deployment, and production validation activities.
- Provide testing status updates and recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
