We are looking for highly qualified Software Quality Assurance Engineer for a contract working onsite supporting NRL in Washington, DC. This is a part time position, 10 hours/week.

Requirements

• Proficiency in monitoring software development phases for design quality and adherence to standards.
• Ability to represent and report Mission Assurance, providing oversight and verification of process adherence.
• Skill in defining and developing SQA processes.
• Experience conducting audits of code, builds, and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with developers to tailor processes.
• Experience supporting management of software requirement specifications.
• Proficiency in tracking and coordinating requirement changes using a tracking tool.
• Experience developing frameworks using tracking tools for test development, planning, and execution.
• Familiarity with customizing and upgrading tracking tools.
• Understanding of relational database design, deployment, and administration.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Active SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor every phase of the software development process so as to ensure design quality, making sure that the software adheres to defined standards.
• Represent and report Mission Assurance, to provide oversight and verification of adherence to the defined processes.
• Define and develop SQA processes and conduct audits of code, builds, and documentation to ensure adherence to the standards as defined by the SQA and MA processes.
• Work with developers to ensure the implemented processes are tailored to meet the needs of the project.
• Work with the leads to support management of the software requirement specifications.
• Track and coordinate changes to the requirements via a tracking tool.
• Develop a framework using tracking tools to support development, planning, and execution of tests.
• Customize and upgrade tracking tools.
• Understand relational database design, deployment, and administration
