About The Position

This role involves monitoring every phase of the software development process to ensure design quality and adherence to defined standards. The individual will represent and report Mission Assurance, providing oversight and verification of adherence to defined processes. Responsibilities include defining and developing SQA processes, conducting audits of code, builds, and documentation, and working with developers to tailor processes to project needs. The role also supports management of software requirement specifications, tracks and coordinates changes to requirements, and develops frameworks for test development, planning, and execution using tracking tools. Customization and upgrading of tracking tools, as well as relational database design, deployment, and administration, are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

SECRET position. Personnel must possess a final DoD granted SECRET security clearance.
PhD; Master’s degree with 5 years of experience; Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience; Associate degree with 15 years of experience, or High School diploma/GED with 20 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Define and develop SQA processes.
Conduct audits of code, builds, and documentation to ensure adherence to standards.
Work with developers to ensure implemented processes are tailored to meet project needs.
Support management of software requirement specifications.
Track and coordinate changes to requirements via a tracking tool.
Develop a framework using tracking tools to support development, planning, and execution of tests.
Customize and upgrade tracking tools.
Perform relational database design, deployment, and administration.
