About The Position

KNOWiNK builds the technology that keeps elections running, with products used by poll workers and election officials nationwide. This is a mid-to-senior role for a Software Project Manager who will be the connective tissue between engineering, QA, product, and leadership, ensuring projects stay on track while considering the people involved. The ideal candidate is energized by making a significant difference, is solution-driven, and can manage multiple concurrent tasks efficiently, especially given the critical nature of election cycles and deadlines.

Requirements

5+ years of software project management experience, preferably in a fast-paced product or engineering environment
Proficiency in agile/scrum methodology, including practical application
Experience with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or similar
Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously without issues
Strong judgment for escalating issues or solving them independently
Clear and direct communication style, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences
A genuine interest in mission-driven work

Responsibilities

Owning software project timelines end to end, from kickoff through delivery, across multiple concurrent projects
Partnering closely with engineering leads and QA to build and maintain realistic roadmaps
Running project ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives efficiently
Identifying and communicating project risks to leadership before they become critical issues
Translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
Managing scope conversations effectively when priorities shift
Building and maintaining project documentation that is actively used
Collaborating with the CTO, COO, and department directors to align project work with company priorities, particularly during election cycles
