About The Position

Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions is seeking a full-time Software Manager/Project Manager to join their team. This hybrid position, located in the Dallas Area, involves supporting applications used by support staff to ensure children can safely thrive in their home environments. The role requires working with internal and external customers to define new functionality and resolve issues. Additionally, the position involves mentoring and developing software engineers on projects and customer issue resolution. The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills and knowledge of software development to enhance applications and ensure customer success, as well as the ability to lead and mentor a team of software developers to foster an efficient, productive, and exciting environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer related field required.
Two years project management experience preferred.
Supervision experience preferred.
Five years’ or more including Software Development and agile project management experience preferred.
Relational Database knowledge preferred.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the applications used by support staff to help ensure that children can safely thrive in their home environments.
Work with internal and external customers to define new functionality and resolve issues they find when using the applications.
Mentor and develop software engineers as they work on projects and resolve customer issues.
Improve applications and ensure customers are able to be successful in helping the children and families supported.
Lead and mentor a team of software developers so they can grow and create an efficient, productive and exciting environment for the team.
