About The Position

Exotec is hiring a Software Integration Manager to lead the team responsible for connecting its warehouse robotics systems with customer software ecosystems, including WMS, WES, WCS, ERP platforms, and other business-critical applications. The role will help establish the processes, methodologies, and organizational structure needed to support a growing portfolio of customer projects across North America, while developing a high-performing team of Software Integration Engineers. The manager will oversee team development, strategy, resource planning, cross-functional coordination, software delivery quality, and continuous improvement. The position supports successful customer deployments and helps shape the growth and maturity of Exotec’s Software Integration organization.

Requirements

Experience leading and developing software engineering, software integration, or other technical teams.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, release management, and software quality practices.
Experience with workforce planning, resource allocation, and managing priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams, coach individuals, and drive organizational effectiveness.
Previous hands-on experience in software development, software engineering, software integration, or a related technical discipline.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and lead teams through change.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence technical and non-technical teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience with complex software deployments, enterprise software, industrial automation, warehouse management systems (WMS), robotics, or related technologies is strongly preferred.
Experience working within global, cross-functional organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop Software Integration Engineers, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Recruit, onboard, and retain talent, and support team members’ professional growth and development.
Define and drive the Software Integration team’s strategy, processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Plan and allocate resources across multiple customer projects to support effective staffing and execution.
Partner with Project Management, Product, Software Development, Systems Integration, and other cross-functional teams to support project delivery.
Improve integration standards, testing practices, quality processes, and operational efficiency.
Support teams in resolving complex technical and project challenges and identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance, scalability, and customer outcomes.
Champion Exotec’s culture and values and help shape the future growth and maturity of the Software Integration organization.
