About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join its SRE team supporting mission operations infrastructure tooling, including automation, alerting, resiliency, and monitoring, as well as troubleshooting customer programming use case configurations. The work location is NBP 324, and the team may relocate to NBP 140; candidates should be comfortable supporting either building. The position includes an on-call requirement and may involve spending up to 50% of the day on system administration tasks while ramping up.

Requirements

• Eight years of software engineering experience; alternatively, an additional five years of software engineering experience may substitute for the degree, for a total of 13 years.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical field, unless substituted with the stated additional experience.
• Linux experience with RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, or Ubuntu.
• Programming experience in Python, C, and BASH.
• Experience with Salt and Ansible automation.
• Comfort spending up to 50% of the day on system administration tasks while ramping up.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, with verification code.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph; most recent polygraph must be within seven years.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Thruk dashboards fed by Nagios plugins and managing feeds to corporate Splunk dashboards.
• Experience with Prometheus metrics and movement toward customized Grafana dashboards.
• Experience with Gitbucket source control.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Slurm.

Responsibilities

• Support either NBP 324 or NBP 140 if the team relocates.
• Participate in the on-call rotation or fulfill the on-call requirement.
