About The Position

SageCor Solutions is hiring a Software Integration Engineer 2 to provide engineering services in support of high-performance computing, large data analytics, and information technology systems. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Initially, up to 50% of the workday may involve system-administration-focused tasks while learning the systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Six years of experience and a bachelor's degree, or 11 years of experience; IAT II.
• Experience with Linux distributions: RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, and Ubuntu.
• Python, C, and BASH skills.
• Experience with Thruk dashboards fed by Nagios plugins and managing feeds to corporate Splunk dashboards.
• Experience with Salt and Ansible automation.
• Experience with Prometheus metrics.
• Familiarity with Gitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and Slurm.

Responsibilities

• Work with Linux systems, including RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, and Ubuntu.
• Support Thruk dashboards fed by Nagios plugins and manage feeds to corporate Splunk dashboards.
• Use Salt and Ansible for automation.
• Use Prometheus for metrics and contribute to the move toward additional customized Grafana dashboards.
• Work with Gitbucket and, as applicable, Jira, Confluence, and Slurm.
