This is a leadership role for highly experienced software engineers who have developed strong leadership and strategic skills. As leaders of one or more squads, they oversee the development of features that span multiple squads or larger pieces of functionality. They are responsible for coordinating the squads tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring the quality of the squads output.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and guides teams to deliver high quality software solutions aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Sets the strategic direction of software development efforts.
  • Manages project portfolios.
  • Ensures effective execution of software engineering initiatives to meet organizational objectives.
  • Builds skills and expertise in leadership, staying abreast of industry trends and cultivating a collaborative and high performance culture within the software engineering team.
  • Collaborates and acts as a team player with crossfunctional teams executives and stakeholders fostering a positive and productive environment for successful software development initiatives.
  • Coordinates the squads tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring the quality of the squads output.
