About The Position

T-Mobile is hiring a software engineering intern for an 11-week paid learning experience in Summer 2027. Interns work on real projects, receive training, build relationships with company leaders and other interns, and are paired with mentors. The engineering team builds and maintains technology for digital out-of-home advertising, connecting advertisers with media owners and supporting campaign planning, purchasing, and delivery. The team is small enough for individual contributions to be visible and large enough for work to have broad impact. The intern will work with experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and improve software used in advertising workflows. Projects may span frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. The intern may own features and contribute work that reaches production, while collaborating with engineering, product, and QA colleagues through feature development, code reviews, technical discussions, and quality improvements. Applicants must be at least 18, legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future, and have one or more courses remaining in a bachelor's or graduate degree program after the internship. T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile employees are ineligible for external Summer Internships. Relocation assistance is provided to program participants who live more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $27 to $50 per hour, with actual pay based on education and STEM versus non-STEM designation.
