About The Position

HP IQ’s Device Experiences team builds innovative, user-facing software experiences across Windows client devices and emerging hardware-software platforms. The team works at the intersection of software, hardware, and AI to create intuitive product experiences, including emerging health-focused initiatives. As an intern, you may contribute to next-generation projects and collaborate across disciplines to bring experiences from concepts and prototypes to working solutions.

Requirements

Be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Have strong programming skills in one or more languages, such as Java or C++.

Responsibilities

Contribute to foundational framework building blocks for intuitive, responsive, and enjoyable user experiences.
Collaborate with designers and engineers to prototype, iterate on, and deliver new interactions and product experiences.
Address technical problems, identify tradeoffs and constraints, and communicate issues, needs, and potential solutions across the team.
Explore and develop interaction models that connect sensors and hardware capabilities to application frameworks and user experiences.
