About The Position

HP IQ is HP’s AI innovation lab, combining startup agility with HP’s global scale to develop intelligent technologies across HP’s portfolio. Its human-centric solutions incorporate AI into HP products and services to improve creativity, productivity, and collaboration. The Cloud Services team builds the cloud foundation supporting and extending HP hardware products. It develops integrated cloud solutions that enhance functionality, performance, and user experiences across devices, working closely with engineering, machine learning, and infrastructure teams to support reliable, connected, AI-driven products. As a Cloud Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with hardware, AI, and platform engineering teams to develop, test, and operate integrated cloud services. Projects may involve AI assistants and conference room devices. The internship is scheduled for May/June through August/September 2027, with final dates based on student schedules. The hourly pay range is $45.00–$51.00.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience or strong interest in hardware-software integration, cloud services, and AI technologies.
Ability to work independently in a small, fast-paced team environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.

Nice To Haves

Experience with automation and infrastructure.
Exposure to building services at scale.
Familiarity with technologies such as Spring Boot.

Responsibilities
