About The Position
DMR Technologies is a Louisiana-based drone manufacturer developing industry-leading solutions for agriculture, public safety, critical infrastructure, and defense. We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern who enjoys building things, learning quickly, and leveraging modern AI development tools to solve real-world business problems.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience with JavaScript
- Familiarity with React
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
- Comfortable using Git or other version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
- Enjoys figuring things out independently
- Learns new technologies quickly
- Isn't afraid to experiment
- Can turn ideas into working software
- Uses AI tools effectively while still understanding the code they're writing
- Communicates well with both technical and non-technical teammates

Responsibilities
- Design and develop internal software that improves efficiency across the organization.
- Build features for DMR's custom internal ERP platform.
- Develop web applications using JavaScript and React.
- Create internal business tools and workflow automation.
- Assist with website development and content updates.
- Develop customer-facing and internal web applications.
- Build and configure AI-powered agents and chatbots using platforms such as Open Claw.
- Integrate APIs and third-party software.
- Assist with light UI/UX improvements and basic graphic design.
- Troubleshoot, test, and improve existing software solutions.
- Contribute ideas and own projects from concept through deployment.
