Software Engineering Intern

L3Harris•Salt Lake, UT

About The Position

The Software Engineering Intern applies computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to develop software for target applications. The intern works with cross-functional engineering teams on hardware and software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system design. The role supports all phases of the software development life cycle for embedded software used in real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment. The intern also develops test procedures, software programs, and documentation; uses modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests; and participates in peer reviews and defect resolution. Work may involve a variety of programming languages, platforms, operating systems, and processor designs.
