About The Position

This internship focuses on the development of a Newtec Modem Simulator, designed for deployment on virtual racks. The role involves developing interfaces for various protocols supported by the Newtec Modem, specifically MQTT and UDP, to enable communication with Panasonic Software. A key objective is to verify the discrete functionality and TLS support of these interfaces. The enhanced simulator will decouple software development from hardware availability and rack setup dependencies.

Responsibilities

  • Development of Newtec Modem Simulator to be used on virtual racks
  • Development of different protocols supported by Newtec Modem as the way of interfacing with Panasonic Software. We need to completed the MQTT and UDP interfaces to communicate with the modem as well as verify the discrete functionality and TLS support
  • Enhanced Newtec Modem simulator that can be deployed on virtual rack to decouple the software development efforts from real HW availability and dependency on rack setup.
