About The Position

Rubrik is seeking curious interns for its Winter 2027 Software Engineering Internship program. This program offers an unparalleled learning experience where interns contribute to meaningful projects, address real-world challenges in data privacy and digital security, and receive mentorship. Requirements

Availability to work full-time starting January 11, 2027 – May 7, 2027, at our headquarters in Palo Alto, CA.
Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Expected graduation date in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
Proficiency in one or more industry-standard programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, C++, Objective-C, JavaScript).
Familiarity with fundamental computer science concepts, such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, concurrency, and distributed systems.

Hands-on software engineering experience through internships, competitive coding challenges, significant academic projects, or research publications.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing machine learning models to enhance core functionalities.
Optimizing tools to improve workflows for Rubrik’s engineering teams.
Developing robust new security features for Rubrik’s products.
Conducting exploratory research on emerging technologies.
