About The Position
Speria develops software and connected technologies that help businesses across the live animal protein industry improve visibility, coordination, and operational performance. We are looking for students who are excited to apply classroom knowledge to meaningful software development work. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in a collaborative, production-level engineering environment.
Requirements
- Students excited to apply classroom knowledge to meaningful software development work.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the development, testing, debugging, or enhancement of software features
- Writing clean and maintainable code with guidance from experienced engineers
- Participating in stand-ups, planning sessions, technical discussions, and code reviews
- Assisting with automated tests, documentation, development tooling, or workflow improvements
- Investigating clearly scoped issues and communicating progress, questions, and blockers
- Collaborating with engineering team members while learning how professional software teams plan, build, test, review, and deliver production improvements.
