About The Position

Rubrik is seeking curious interns for its Winter 2027 Software Engineering Internship program. Interns will be entrusted with real responsibility and have the opportunity to write code that will ship, becoming a full member of the engineering team. The program offers an unparalleled learning experience that goes beyond coding, with interns contributing to meaningful projects while addressing real-world challenges related to data privacy and digital security. Interns will receive mentorship, access to a nurturing, inclusive community, and participate in networking events, social activities, development workshops, and volunteer opportunities. The internship will involve diving into Rubrik’s cutting-edge technologies and working on challenging technical projects across various product areas, potentially including designing and implementing machine learning models, optimizing tools, developing new security features, and conducting exploratory research on emerging technologies.

Requirements

Availability to work full-time starting January 11, 2027 – May 7, 2027, at our headquarters in Palo Alto, CA.
Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Expected graduation date in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
Proficiency in one or more industry-standard programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, C++, Objective-C, JavaScript).
Familiarity with fundamental computer science concepts, such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, concurrency, and distributed systems.
