About The Position

Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. In order to be considered for this role, you must be available to work onsite, full time (40 hours per week), for the entire duration. No Visa Sponsorship In this intern role, you will develop embedded software for next generation Rivian autonomy platform. You will work on real-time and safety critical RTOS and applications that support advanced driver assistance features on the next generation of Rivian autonomy platform.

Requirements

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university
  • Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in C programming language
  • Knowledge of ARM microcontrollers/microprocessors or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems like FreeRTOS or Zephyr

Responsibilities

  • Implement and modify embedded software written in C programming language
  • Implement Functional Safety related requirements for embedded software
  • Develop Python based test scripts to validate the embedded software changes
  • Develop and modify device drivers for Zephyr RTOS
