Software Engineering Generative AI Intern
About The Position
SPX Technologies is seeking a motivated software engineering intern for its paid summer internship program with Genfare, a public transit fare collection technology provider. The intern will work on generative AI applications and contribute to real projects while gaining hands-on experience with modern AI technologies and collaborating with experienced engineers and other teams. The role focuses on developing and integrating generative AI solutions, building web applications with AI-powered features, and supporting product development. The intern will also test and debug applications, document code and technical specifications, and participate in code reviews and team meetings. Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
- Previous internship or project experience.
- Familiarity with databases and data processing.
- Enrolled in a graduate program or in the final year of an undergraduate degree.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate generative AI solutions using LLMs and APIs.
