Software Engineering Co-Op
About The Position
This role is for a Software Engineering Co-Op. In this role, your responsibilities will include developing and unit testing development tasks, sometimes via pair programming. You will also participate in requirements gathering and breakdown sessions with the customer and the development team, assist with functional testing and other tasks as needed, and learn and grow into a professional and productive team member. The ideal candidate stays aligned with their goals, stays productive, makes new connections and builds relationships in other areas and teams, takes time to ask questions and define the problem, makes learning a priority and a goal, and solicits both input and discussion.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, or related field
- At least one object-oriented programming course completed prior to co-op
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Java, .NET, iOS, Android, or other high-level programming
- Relational database/SQL knowledge
- HTML/CSS
- JavaScript
- Sophomore or higher class status
- Ability to return for multiple co-op rotations
