About The Position

This position manages individual contributors within the AMMM Software Engineering team under the AMMM portfolio. Responsibilities Include: - AMMM program work force management (reassignments/placements, recruitment, selection of new employees, and terminations) - Personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance/compensation, and promotions) - Management responsibility will include collaboration with AMMM Programs, Aeronautics Programs, other Business Units and Industry. The successful candidate will be expected to support communications with all levels of employees, customers, and industry from engineer up to executive. Strong skills in conflict resolution, proactive communication, building collaborative relationships and other "soft skills" are desired. - Support pursuit and management of internal and customer sponsored technology roadmaps. - Interface with LM Aero, other business units, and external customers/suppliers to develop new technologies and transition them to LM Aero programs. - Support technical execution and leadership of Engineering and Technology IRAD projects, including existing and future efforts. - Ability to provide technical and career path mentorship/guidance to junior engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in a STEM field
  • Experience in software engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Technical leadership experience with ability to lead a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Requires a Secret clearance once position is accepted

  • DevSecOps experience and knowledge
