Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field, with a graduation date no later than August 31, 2026.
Strong foundation in programming languages and familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
U.S. citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements).
Ability to travel 25-50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location.

Nice To Haves

Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required, 3.2 cumulative GPA preferred) from a 4-year accredited institution.
Coursework or hands-on experience in multiple programming languages, modern frameworks, architectures, databases, cloud platforms, and AI/ML.
Experience with full-stack development frameworks and knowledge of secure coding practices and software testing methodologies.
Familiarity with AI frameworks and exposure to Agentic AI concepts or autonomous system design.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Experiment and be an early adopter of emerging technologies and next-generation IT tools, including generative AI, intelligent agents, and edge computing.
Leverage advanced engineering frameworks such as Agentic AI to accelerate solution development and automate complex workflows.
Design and build full-stack applications using languages like Python, Java, and JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Node.js, and Spring Boot.
Deploy cloud-native solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP using containers (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless functions, and infrastructure-as-code.
Integrate AI/ML models into production systems using various tools, optimizing for performance, stability, and ethical use.
Collaborate in agile teams to deliver secure, resilient, and innovative software that supports federal missions and improves citizen services.
