About The Position

The Engineering Analyst (Analyst) plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and usability of subsurface resource data across reservoir engineering and drilling and production operations. Working collaboratively with engineering and operational teams, the Analyst coordinates the development of operational reports, enhances data accessibility, and provides industry guidance to permit holders. The role supports regulatory compliance and continuous improvement by leading data quality initiatives including the automation of processes, and ensuring timely and secure access to critical information for internal and external stakeholders. The role independently applies engineering principles and analytical techniques to evaluate well construction, intervention, pressure and flow test data, ensuring regulatory data integrity and supporting effective resource management. The Analyst leads and coordinates the development of administrative compliance audits and serves as a subject matter expert in data governance. The Analyst supports regulatory enforcement, promotes best practices in data management, and drives continuous improvement in data systems and workflows.
