About The Position

The Growth Engineering team at Sprinter Health is responsible for driving patient engagement and adoption of in-home care services. This role focuses on evolving the current booking process from primarily outbound phone outreach to a product-led motion, integrating booking directly into the core product. The engineer will design and implement systems that directly impact whether patients receive necessary care, contributing to a significant reduction in avoidable healthcare costs and improving access for underserved communities. Sprinter Health is a hybrid company based in the Bay Area with offices in San Francisco and Menlo Park, emphasizing work-life balance and flexibility.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience on a growth or experimentation-focused team.
  • Experience building and iterating on backend systems for experimentation, messaging, funnels, or activation flows.
  • Experience shipping and measuring experiments that improved core metrics like activation, conversion, retention, or booking.
  • Ability to use data to identify drop-offs, size opportunities, and prioritize development.
  • Experience collaborating with product, design, data, or operations teams.
  • Experience balancing speed and impact in a startup or high-growth environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to move fast with data, scrappy tooling, and lightweight experiments.
  • Experience operating in high-ambiguity, zero-to-one, or PLG environments.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize multi-channel engagement across SMS, phone, email, and mail to reach patients who typically don't schedule care.
  • Run rapid brainstorms and sizing exercises to prioritize growth initiatives.
  • Define and monitor funnel metrics to understand drop-off, activation, and conversion rates.
  • Share insights through clear reporting and experiment reviews with cross-functional partners.
  • Test unconventional tactics, such as door-knocking pilots, and simulate outreach volume to match clinical supply and demand.
