About The Position

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Layer-2 (MAC) networking protocols
- Networking software development
- Linux and embedded software environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong C programming and debugging skills
Nice To Haves
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with Layer-2 (MAC) networking protocols
- 2+ years of experience with Networking software development
- 2+ years of experience with Linux and embedded software environments
- Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions
- Software development workflow automation
- Build infrastructure and automation
- DevTest and validation automation
- Regression analytics and optimization
- Defect triage and root cause analysis
- Release automation and quality engineering
- Data analytics, reporting, and dashboarding

Responsibilities
