About The Position

Design and develop software applications to meet business and user needs. This role involves creating tickets, stories, and epics, writing technical documentation, and consulting with customers or other departments on project status and technical issues. The engineer will also participate in peer code reviews and various software development lifecycle meetings. Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other closely related degrees
• Coding in programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, or similar languages
• Machine Learning
• System Programming
• Analysis of Algorithms
• Data Visualization

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications to meet business and user needs
• Create tickets, stories, and epics describing the task and associated success metrics and time commitment
• Write technical documentation relating to engineering projects and processes
• Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices
• Participate in design, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as part of the software development lifecycle
