About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the delivery of scalable software solutions by managing feature implementation, testing, and ongoing support within collaborative teams. This role requires expertise in software development lifecycle, including coding, debugging, and continuous integration, while integrating AI/ML components to enhance platform capabilities. You will contribute to solution design, technical leadership, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure alignment with business objectives. The position emphasizes innovation, quality, and operational excellence, supporting continuous improvement and mentoring peers to drive impactful technology outcomes. The Global Governance Tech team delivers advanced Ethics and Compliance solutions supporting supply chain initiatives through agile, cloud-native development. The team prioritizes innovation, quality, and scalable software aligned with business goals. Members collaborate to design, develop, and maintain solutions across in-store, mobile, and web platforms. With strong technical expertise, ownership, and problem-solving focus, the team operates in a dynamic environment that encourages continuous learning and collaboration. This approach drives impactful results that enhance customer and business outcomes while ensuring maintainable, high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience in code review, debugging, and continuous development.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver scoped features or models through iterative and incremental development.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance software solutions.
  • Proficiency in software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software aligned with platform objectives.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and system objectives.
  • Develop, test, and maintain software components using languages such as JavaScript, Python, and C++, applying object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding.
  • Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development efficiency.
  • Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to maintain high-quality software standards.
  • Participate in solution design, evaluating trade-offs and ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor application performance and support continuous integration and deployment processes.
