About The Position

As a Software Engineer on Bloomerang's PDLC Operations team, you will build internal integrations and automations connecting product development with the teams that bring products to customers. The role focuses on creating a product knowledge layer that gives Marketing, Enablement, Sales, and Customer teams the context and content they need, when they need it. You will report to the Sr. Manager, PDLC Operations, who sets the direction for PDLC systems, and turn that direction into working tools through rapid prototyping, user feedback, iteration, and refinement. The position includes developing content capture and classification processes, a typed and versioned product knowledge repository, and role-scoped content delivery through an internal AI harness and tools used by partner teams. You will automate repetitive PDLC work, extend internal apps and dashboards, and build AI-assisted workflows, Claude skills, and Slack bots. You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Program Management, Product Analytics, and go-to-market teams, while building securely, respecting access controls and data-handling standards, and documenting your work for ongoing use and support.

Requirements

  • Experience building and maintaining web applications, APIs, and integrations in a modern language such as Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Comfort working with REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication for third-party tools.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including testing, debugging, and Git-based workflows with code review.
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and LLMs, such as Claude Code, and the ability to build and use agent harnesses and automated workflows.
  • A bias toward shipping, including willingness to build an initial version, learn from it, and replace it when a better approach emerges.
  • Curiosity about how teams work and a habit of understanding the problem before building a solution.
  • Clear communication with non-technical partners, including explaining tradeoffs in plain language.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a manager who owns the vision, contribute ideas, and push back when an approach will not work.
  • Ability to actively explore, learn, and responsibly integrate AI tools into daily tasks to drive efficiency and support Bloomerang's mission.
  • Experience with content models, metadata, or knowledge graphs, and with content provenance and versioning in Git.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LLM-assisted classification and evaluation of AI answer quality.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian, GitHub, Notion, or Slack APIs, or Salesforce, Gainsight, Intercom, or Pendo APIs.
  • Previous experience with MCP servers, Replit, or SQL and data warehouses such as BigQuery or Databricks.

Responsibilities

  • Build content capture and classification processes that collect information from Jira, GitHub, Notion, Figma, Pendo, and data platforms such as BigQuery and Databricks, and surface relevant information to partner teams.
  • Design and maintain a product knowledge repository with typed, sourced, and versioned content that distinguishes verified facts, decisions, ideas, and internal-only details.
  • Design and build role-scoped delivery through the internal AI harness, providing Marketing, Sales, Enablement, and Customer teams with launch messaging, battlecards, help content, and training from verified sources, including through tools such as Salesforce, Gainsight, and Intercom.
  • Automate repetitive PDLC work, including go-live checklists, release notifications triggered by deploys and feature flag changes, and status roll-ups.
  • Prototype approaches, test them with users, and iterate or discard them based on feedback.
  • Extend and improve internal apps and dashboards built on tools such as Replit, including portfolio and capacity planning and delivery health metrics.
  • Build AI-assisted workflows, Claude skills, and Slack bots that answer questions about work in flight using the product knowledge repository.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Program Management, Product Analytics, and go-to-market teams to understand needs and build simple tools.
  • Build securely and responsibly, following access controls, data-handling standards, and audit requirements such as SOC 2 traceability between code and work items.
  • Document tools and systems so others can use, support, and maintain them.

Benefits

  • Health, vision, and dental insurance options.
  • Access to HealthiestYou, a healthcare service offering convenient, confidential access to doctors 24/7.
  • Competitive PTO package: 20 PTO days, 3 flex days, 4 optional volunteer days, and 12 paid holidays.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • 401k match.
  • Equipment shipped to the employee's door.
