Requirements

• Experience with Java 8
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with JavaScript (React, ECMAScript 6, Sass)
• Experience with Kafka, Spark, Hadoop
• Experience with Singularity on Apache Mesos
• Experience with HBase, Elastic Search, ZooKeeper, Redis, MySQL, and Memcached

Nice To Haves

• Contributing to open source projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop Back End micro-services primarily with Java 8, utilizing RESTful APIs and the Dropwizard framework.
• Leverage Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop for processing large volumes of data.
• Build complex, single-page Front End web applications using JavaScript (React, ECMAScript 6, Sass).
• Develop systems that power thousands of services with Singularity on Apache Mesos.
• Empower access to massive datasets with HBase, Elastic Search, ZooKeeper, Redis, MySQL, and Memcached.
• Contribute to open source projects.
• Collaborate within small, autonomous, cross-functional teams to set goals, timelines, and build software.
• Participate in user testing.
