About The Position
Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is recruiting a Software Engineer for a 06+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential in Raleigh, NC. The role is hybrid and pays $70–$75 per hour. The engineer will build and support FDA-regulated software, collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as Java, Scala, Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing full-stack web applications and products.
- Experience working in an agile organization; the team uses Jira extensively.
- Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving skills to complex issues.
- Interest in and ability to learn other programming languages and technologies as needed.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
