About The Position

Brown & Brown is seeking a Software Developer to join its team in Olivette, Missouri. The role works across desktop and web applications, contributes to database design and queries, and collaborates using modern Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines. It offers hands-on experience across the full stack, from desktop user interfaces to backend services.

Requirements

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle abstract and concrete variables.

Responsibilities

Analyze Arrowhead business processes and requirements.
Make decisions regarding software implementation and creation.
Maintain existing software through bug fixes and enhancements.
Design, code, and maintain software applications using .NET, Entity Framework, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, and SQL.
Design, build, and maintain WPF desktop applications using the MVVM pattern.
Write and optimize MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
Develop and support .NET web applications and REST APIs.
Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues across environments.
Collaborate using Git workflows, including feature branching, pull requests, and code review.
Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team knowledge-sharing sessions.
Use Agentic development to implement and troubleshoot systems.
