About The Position

The Senior Software Engineer will lead the delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative teams, ensuring alignment with platform and business objectives. About the team: The AdTech Measurement and Reporting team delivers comprehensive performance insights to support informed decision-making. This team designs and implements scalable, cloud-native platforms for real-time data processing and AI integration. Collaborating across functions, members develop robust tools that enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. By applying advanced engineering principles and model-driven design, the team ensures reliable, high-quality outputs that drive business value. The group focuses on continuous improvement and innovation while aligning with strategic goals and operational excellence to support Walmart’s commitment to impactful technology solutions.

Requirements

Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
Strong technical acumen with experience in code review, debugging, and continuous development.
Demonstrated ability to deliver scoped features or models through collaborative engineering teams.
Experience with AI/ML integration and generative artificial intelligence tools to enhance software solutions.
Proficiency in software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software aligned with platform and business goals.
Effective collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
Knowledge of accessibility best practices.
