About The Position

The Software Engineer will be one of the company’s first engineering hires, building and scaling the data infrastructure behind its products. The role focuses on complex data workflows and high-throughput pipelines designed to perform under heavy load. The engineer will work across Next.js for web development and Python for desktop applications. This is a high-ownership individual contributor role involving end-to-end project ownership, rapid delivery, and helping establish engineering best practices. The company builds reinforcement-learning environments, agents, and data for leading frontier AI labs, supporting foundation-model development across the industry. The role is onsite in San Francisco, California.

Requirements

• Experience building and scaling complex data workflows and high-throughput data pipelines.
• Experience with heavy-load production systems.
• Strong Python skills, plus experience with Next.js or a comparable modern web framework.
• A track record of owning projects end to end and shipping quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Background at a top-tier tech company, financial institution, or high-growth startup.
• A track record of meaningful tenure and impact at previous companies.
• Able to work onsite in San Francisco.
