About The Position

Join Apple’s team to shape traffic and service development. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining network services, proxies, meshes, libraries, and other infrastructure components that enable secure, scalable, and transparent connectivity across Apple cloud environments. Traffic components include network proxying, load balancing, security, routing, and quality of service, supporting Apple services at scale for hundreds of millions of users worldwide. The engineer will enhance Apple’s network stack for secure service networking and ingress and egress functionality, and help architect the backbone of Apple’s services. The position emphasizes innovation in traffic management and ownership across the software product lifecycle, from design and implementation through production. The team offers a collaborative environment that supports both social interaction and focused work, provides technical guidance and mentorship, encourages professional growth, and promotes work-life balance, including use of accrued vacation time.
