You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain our Publishing platform. In this role, you’ll help to shape the systems that power how we distribute content and information across Sentry and our customers. We’re seeking a Software Engineer to join our Publishing Platform team focusing on Java technologies, including frameworks like Spring, SQL Server, Vue.js, RESTful API development, and AWS cloud platform. As a Software Engineer, you will: Collaborate actively with team members through design reviews, code reviews, architecture discussions, and scrum ceremonies. Design, develop, and implement new features and solutions for our Publishing platform, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and user experience. Mentor peers through thoughtful code reviews and technical discussions, sharing your knowledge and design perspectives.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent related work experience.
Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies.
Demonstrated ability to articulate design suggestions while considering various perspectives and collaboratively problem-solving.
Passion for code quality, thoughtful design, and continuous improvement.
Minimum of 2 years related work experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience in making architectural and design choices highly preferred.
3-5 or more years preferred.
