Requirements

  • Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
  • Strong experience delivering scoped features through iterative development and continuous integration.
  • Proficiency in debugging, code review, and automated testing to ensure software quality.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with technical standards.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development.
  • Effective collaboration skills to communicate complex ideas across cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and mentoring within engineering teams.
  • Experience in building optimized ETL pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience in Hive/Spark/BigQuery/SQL.
  • Experience working with Apache Airflow.
  • Good programming knowledge in Python/Scala/Java.
  • Experience in problem solving skills and data structures.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • OR 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
  • Participate in solution design, conducting design reviews and ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and define success metrics.
  • Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Mentor peers, promote engineering best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
