Senior Software Engineer
About The Position
Full Visibility is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work in Huntsville, AL. This role is responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of application development projects supporting IT infrastructure. This includes integrating third-party components, developing new custom capabilities, modifying existing code, recommending process improvements, and automating operations and maintenance tasks. The engineer will develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics, under the direction of lead architects. The position involves participation in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. Duties also include technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and knowledge transfer on development best practices.
Requirements
- Candidate MUST possess an ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI eligible clearance.
- Individuals selected for this position will be subject to Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph examinations based on their assignment after their start date and must be able to obtain and maintain any required CI Polygraph eligibility throughout the duration of their employment.
- Active Top Secret Clearance/with SCI eligibility.
- This position may require the successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- Bachelor Degree in related field or in-lieu-of degree 4 additional years of experience.
- At least eight (8+) years of Software Engineer experience.
- Experience with Java, C, C#.
- Experience with .NET (Application Development Framework).
- Experience with Spring Boot (Java backend framework).
- Experience with Angular (Frontend framework).
- Experience with REST API's (API/backend architecture).
- Experience with Backend (Server-side development).
- Experience with React (Front-end JavaScript framework/library).
- Experience with Microservices (Backend architecture).
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD (DevOps CI/CD).
- Experience with Docker (Containerization).
- Experience with AWS (Cloud Platform).
- Experience with Postgres (Relational database).
