About The Position

Qualcomm Software Engineers design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs for cutting-edge products that meet and exceed customer needs. They collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information about performance requirements and interfaces. This position is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Excellent coding and debugging skills in C/C++.
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in object-oriented analysis and design (OOA and OOD).
• Good knowledge of design patterns.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Development experience in a Windows or Linux-based environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Understanding of multithreading and concurrency.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as a team player.

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of industry experience in the listed preferred areas.
• Web development skills, including Electron, React, Angular, and Node.js.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD processes.
• Development experience with USB drivers; knowledge of libusb is a plus.
• AI programming experience, including large language models (LLMs).
