About The Position
Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Fairmont, WV. This role involves supporting programs related to electronic warfare systems, working in a structured and multidisciplinary team environment. Responsibilities include the development of requirements and design specifications, implementation of developed system specifications, and test plan and procedure development, as well as system testing and installation support.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience software engineering/development using Git based tools.
- Proficiency with C++, Python, and Bash scripting in a Linux operating environment.
- Working knowledge of virtualization and containerization.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
Nice To Haves
- Math or physics background is desired.
- Interest and understanding of RF signals and radar technologies.
