Software Engineer (On-Site Hybrid Role)
About The Position
Interstate Waste Services is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications that support critical business operations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Ohio. The role builds and maintains applications using C# and .NET 8+, develops and supports REST APIs and system integrations, and contributes to scalable solutions, application architecture, performance enhancements, and modernization initiatives. The position is based in Teaneck, New Jersey, with a hybrid schedule of four days onsite and one day remote, Monday through Friday. The annual salary range is $80,000 to $110,000, based on experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States with unrestricted work authorization. Interstate Waste Services does not currently sponsor or transfer employment visas. Requirements
- 1–3+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET 8+, SQL Server, and API development.
- Experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States with unrestricted work authorization; the company does not currently sponsor or transfer employment visas.
