About The Position

Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot mission software applications using Python, MongoDB, and containers. The software integrates with commercial, government, and open-source products. Work is on-site in Fort Meade, Maryland, and applicants must live within commuting distance. Applicants must currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; the employer does not sponsor new clearances or upgrades. Some roles may allow limited telework, but regular on-site attendance is required.

Requirements

• Five years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; three years with a master's degree; or seven years without a degree.
• Currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Live within commuting distance of the work location in Fort Meade, Maryland.
• Experience with Linux command-line tools.
• Bash scripting experience.
• Recent Python 3 development experience.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and containerd.
• Experience with GitLab CI and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Ansible.
• Experience with Git.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot Python applications.
• Integrate software with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open-source libraries.
• Build and deploy containerized services.
• Automate pipelines with GitLab CI.
• Support deployments on Kubernetes with Helm.
• Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot mission software.
